We have developed our continuous pontoons to provide an economical berthing and/or attenuation option in semi-exposed sites.

Offering many of the same benefits as the breakwater such as high weight for wave dampening, strength and longevity, the pontoon also provides a stable floating solution which can be used for cycleways or walkways.

Waven Dampening

The weight of our continuous concrete pontoons gives them an advantage over steel and aluminium pontoons. The increased mass improves the wave dampening properties, and for this reason it is a suitable option for semi-exposed sites.

Stability

The high weight of our pontoons offers a very stable platform, with reduce motion.

Continuous Surface

The continuous surface of our pontoons enables the pontoons to be used in more innovative projects, such as cycle paths and public walkways.

Concrete

Our continuous pontoons are manufactured from grade C50/60 concrete, offering a high strength unit.

Reinforcing Steel

Galvanised reinforcing steel is used throughout, ensuring longevity.

Base Skin

A glassfibre reinforced concrete skin can be added to the base of the pontoons to protect floats, preventing damage and buoyancy loss.

Mooring Systems

Our continuous concrete pontoons can be moored on chain, rope, elasticated mooring systems, using mooring hooks or piles.

Fender Options

The fender options available for our Continuous Concrete Pontoons are rubber, plastic or timber.

Service Options

Cast in ducting is provided for service runs with manholes located at suitable spacings for convenient access.

Mooring Bollards

Mooring bollards with up to a 10T load capacity can be provided in either galvanised or powder coated finish.

All our pontoons are manufactured to an ISO 9001 Accredited System.
