SeaBin

The SeaBin has been developed by the SeaBin Project to provide a practical and tangible solution to reduce the plastics in our oceans, and as part of our ongoing commitment to the marine environment we have become the official UK supplier of the SeaBin.

The SeaBin aids the fight against plastic pollution by sitting in the water, moving up and down with the tide. It draws in water from the surface and passes it through a fine mesh bag, catching floating litter such as plastic bottles and microplastics as small as 2mm in diameter. A single Seabin can collect up to 1.4 tons of litter each year – the equivalent of 90,000 plastic bags or 35,700 disposable cups – but can cost as little as 80p a day to run.

Initiatives such as this which can really help make a difference. Providing safe water access solutions, we are passionate about the health of lakes, rivers and coastal areas and are delighted to play our part in helping remove plastic waste from the marine ecosystem.

We can install a SeaBin in any existing marina or harbour, or it can be included as part of your next project. Please contact us for more information on the SeaBin or to arrange an installation.
