Westcove Pier

The project involved the design, manufacture and installation of three pontoons, an access gangway and associated handrails, providing a safe and reliable access solution for the club’s rescue operations and day-to-day activities.

Westcove Pier – challenges and solutions

Working closely with Derrynane Inshore Rescue Club throughout the project, we delivered a complete access solution tailored to the operational needs of the rescue club. The system was designed to accommodate the varying tidal conditions while providing safe, durable and low-maintenance access for users.

The installation included three pontoons, a gangway and safety handrails, all manufactured to withstand the demanding marine environment and provide long-term reliability – which is incredibly important for these vital community services.

The complete installation has transformed access at Westcove Pier, providing a modern and robust facility that will support the rescue club and local community for years to come.
