I’m incredibly pleased with the installation of the Heavy-Duty Pontoon System by Inland and Coastal, which has significantly enhanced the berthing facilities available here at Peterhead Port. The new system is purpose-built for safe boarding of crew transfer and working vessels, supporting the demanding operational needs of the many wind farm projects located off Peterhead. With the 20-metre long access bridge, reinforced GRP decking and robust fendering, the 76.3 metre long pontoon ensures both safe and easy access for up to two vessels. Inland and Coastal’s commitment to safety and attention to detail, along with seamless coordination with our team and local contractors, allowed for efficient completion within our busy harbour environment.
