The reason that we choose Inland and Coastal for the project was that I’d worked with them before so I was aware that their design function was thorough and robust.
I was impressed by the speed, efficiency and enthusiasm shown by the Inland and Coastal team, right through the project and installation on site. Our new facilities have extended the season and enabled access in a wider range of weather and water conditions. The investment has transformed participation and enjoyment of the sport at the club.
The new landing stage at the club has transformed the rowing site, offering an exceptional boating facility for our students. Jon and his team were fantastic throughout the project, offering expert advice and installation. The finish product has exceeded our expectations.
We are really pleased with the result. The project was run smoothly and efficiently, and communication was second to none throughout the works. We would happily recommend them for further works.
Working closely with us to fully understand the brief and what needed to be achieved, Inland and Coastal developed a bespoke solution catering for all stakeholders.
The majority of yachtsmen that come in say that it is one of the best pontoons they have ever moored on, stable, non-slip and a high freeboard so they do not have to jump down from their yachts on to the pontoon deck.
We chose to work with Inland and Coastal Marina Systems as, not only do they produce quality durable pontoon systems, but the team is keen to work with and utilise much of what currently exists, making the most efficient use of time and resources.
We would like to thank you and your team for their professionalism in providing an excellent product. All boat owners are happy with the new pontoons and have commented on the difference in stability compared to the old pontoons you removed. The concrete decking planks look great and even in the rain have good non-slip properties. We will be in touch for any further developments at Cameron House.
I am really pleased with the outcome. We went for Inland and Coastal’s own specialist GRC decking system because it gives a much brighter, lighter feeling to the marina, whilst offering great stability and grip underfoot for our berth holders.
We’re really pleased with the new berths which will really help boost the local economy, in fact, they’ve all been snapped up already. Our new berth holders are particularly impressed with the stability of the pontoons and have commented on the glass-reinforced concrete decking, which they tell me feels much better underfoot than the wooden decking they’re used to.
We’re delighted with the quality of the new boardwalk, an attractive upgrade to the waterfront providing a strong, stable walkway for visitors,” says Shay O’Connor, senior engineer with Leitrim County Council. “Even though conditions were challenging at times with access routes being periodically submerged, the team at Inland and Coastal completed the installation efficiently and without disrupting the activities of the regular commercial users of the marina.
We’re delighted with the new 30m pontoon which will soon see operations staff and maintenance teams safely boarding crew vessels for transfer to the Seagreen Offshore Wind Farm, supporting the production of enough electricity to power 1.6 million homes in Scotland. The decision to award the contract for this project to Inland and Coastal Marina Systems has proved a very wise investment, with the resulting facility not only being extremely well designed and engineered, but delivered on time and on budget.
We looked at several options to improve our launching pontoon, including doing the whole job ourselves. We choose to work with Inland and Coastal as we liked their ‘can-do’ collaborative approach, practical help and workable, quality solution. Our members are delighted with the result. We have a great new launching area for all our boats including our RIBs.
Working with Inland and Coastal and P&D has been a very positive experience, with the collaboration producing the best value solution for the club and its members. The carefully designed modular nature of the new pontoon with its improved accessibility not only makes it easier for us to operate on a day to day basis, but also makes us more attractive as a host for external events, bringing revenue to the club.
Feedback from customers so far is that they’ve seen a dramatic change in the wave climate. It is quite literally rough on one side, and calm on the other. We’re very happy.
The Tawe was at the heart of Swansea life for many years; it will be again in future as we breathe more life into the river corridor for the benefit of local people and visitors.
Considerably longer than what would be required on inland rowing facilities, the three-gangway set-up was required to allow the rowing boats to be carried parallel to the line of the pontoons.
We are very pleased with the result and enjoyed collaborating with the council and harbour team throughout.
I’m incredibly pleased with the installation of the Heavy-Duty Pontoon System by Inland and Coastal, which has significantly enhanced the berthing facilities available here at Peterhead Port. The new system is purpose-built for safe boarding of crew transfer and working vessels, supporting the demanding operational needs of the many wind farm projects located off Peterhead. With the 20-metre long access bridge, reinforced GRP decking and robust fendering, the 76.3 metre long pontoon ensures both safe and easy access for up to two vessels. Inland and Coastal’s commitment to safety and attention to detail, along with seamless coordination with our team and local contractors, allowed for efficient completion within our busy harbour environment.
The team at Inland & Coastal have been fantastic throughout the project to install the new pontoon, right from the very first contact. They worked closely with me in both the design and installation phases, and it’s fair to say that without their support the project simply would not have happened. The result is that we now have a pontoon that has transformed the access to the Wansbeck for all river users no matter their age and ability.
Our pontoon not only provides a stable platform for DRIFT’s innovative events, but also demonstrates the flexibility of our solutions in meeting the unique demands of public, artistic and community-driven projects.
Inland and Coastal’s wave attenuating breakwater pontoons are not only robust and effective, providing smooth and comfortable berthing for super yachts, but they also reflect the premium aesthetic we envisioned with their sleek charcoal grey finish. Our berth holders have been particularly impressed with the enhanced stability and safety provided by the specialist non-slip finish. It has been a pleasure to work with such a professional and innovative team, and the results speak for themselves.
We’re delighted to have partnered with Quoile Yacht Club on this project, providing a bespoke pontoon system tailored to their needs. Our durable GRP decking ensures a safe, low-maintenance solution that performs in all weather conditions, while our chain and concrete anchoring system offers long-lasting stability. Working with Cuan Marine Services, we’ve delivered a reliable mooring solution that enhances the experience for club members in the beautiful surroundings of Strangford Lough.
From the outset the client benefited greatly from Inland and Coastal being on site at our initial client meeting. They were able to demonstrate the benefits of the pontoons and show examples of previous projects first hand. We have worked together with Inland and Coastal before and know the will act promptly should any issue arise to ensure the job is completed on time to budget.
